2023학년도 전기 대학원 외국어시험 실시(면제) 공고

2023 Spring Graduate School Foreign Language Test (or Exemption of Test)

1. 시험 일정 

 가. 시험 일시 : 2023.3.4.(토) 10:00 ~ 11:00 

 Date and time: 10:00~11:00 am, Mar. 4.(Sat.) 

 나. 시험 장소 : 상경관 강의실, 대명동 교사(의학과, 의공학과, 보건학과 해당)

 Place: Classrooms in College of Business & Economics Bldg, and 

 Daemyeong-dong Campus(for medicine, medicinal engineering and health majors)

 ※ 코로나19 등 사정에 따라 변경될 수 있으며, 시험당일 호실 배정함. 

 Date and time may change with notice as it may chance. 

 Test room numbers will be announced on the day of test.

 다. 신청 기간 : 2023.2.20.(월) 09:00 ~ 2.24.(금) 17:00

  Application period: Feb. 20, 09:00 – Feb. 24, 17:00

 라. 신청 방법 How to apply

1) 외국어시험 응시자 : 웹(URP종합정보) → 졸업관리 → 외국어시험신청 → 

 과목명 “영어” 또는 “한국어”선택 → 접수 → 신청완료 

 Exam takers: Web(URP) → Graduation → Application for Foreign Language Exam

 → Select “영어 English” or “한국어 Korean ”→ Submit → Done

2) 외국어시험 면제자 Application for the Exemption of Foreign Language Test:

 ① [공인성적취득자] : 웹(URP종합정보) → 졸업관리 → 외국어시험신청 →과목명 중

 TOEFL, TOEIC,TEPS,IELTS" 또는 ”TOPIK, KLAT" 선택 → 성적 입력 

 → 신청서 출력 + 공인성적표(2023.3.4.기준으로 시험일(Test date)이

 2년 이내인 성적표) → 대학원 제출

 [Official test score holders]: Web(URP) → Graduation → Application for 

 Foreign Language Exam → Select “TOEFL, TOEIC,TEPS,IELTS" or ”TOPIK, KLAT" → Enter your test score → print out the application form → submit both the

 application and the official test score sheet(Test date must be within 2 years
  from Mar. 4, 2023) to Graduate School

 ② [학위취득자] : 웹(URP종합정보) → 졸업관리 → 외국어시험신청 → 과목명 중 

 “영어면제” 또는 “한국어면제” 선택 → 신청서출력 + 졸업증명서
  → 대학원 제출

 [Graduates from Universities in Korea]: Web(URP) → Graduation → Application 

 for Foreign Language Exam → Select “영어면제 Exemption of English Test” or

 a “한국어면제 Exemption of Korean Test” 선택 → print out the application

 form → submit both the application and the certificate of graduation to 

 Graduate School]

  ※ 영어특강 및 한국어특강을 이수하고 합격한 자 및 2023 전기 신입생 중 입학서류에

 공인성적표를 제출한 자는 별도의 면제신청이 필요 없음.

  No application for the Exemption of Foreign Language Test is necessary in

 following case that:

 (1) you have already taken the special classes for English or Korean at

 Yeungnam University and obtained passing marks

 (2) you have been admitted to Graduate School in Spring 2023 and submitted the 

 official test score sheet of English or Korean

2. 시험 과목 : 영어(내국인), 한국어(외국인)

 Languages for Test: 

 English (for Korean students), Korean (for non-Korean speaking students)

3. 시험 응시 및 면제 신청 대상 

 Who to apply for the test or the exemption of test

 ① 2023학년도 1학기 신입생 및 등록을 필한 재학생

 New students admitted in Spring 2023 and enrolled students with paid registration

 ② 수료생

 Students who completed coursework

4. 합격 기준 : 100점 만점에 70점 이상 취득(※영어영문학과 전공학생의 영어시험은 80점 이상 취득)

  Passing mark: 70 or higher from full marks (100) 

 (※ 80 or higher for English language and literature majors)

5. 외국어시험 면제 자격 Qualification for the exemption of language test

 가. 내국인 학생 Korean students

 ① TOEFL, TOEIC, TEPS, IELTS 중에 다음의 성적을 취득한 자

 Official language test score holders

 - TOEFL : IBT 61점 이상, CBT 173점 이상, PBT 500점 이상

 IBT 61, CBT 173, PBT 500 or higher

 - TOEIC : 650점 이상, 650 or higher

 - NEW TEPS : 327점 이상(TEPS 600점 이상), NEW TEPS 327(TEPS 600) or higher 

 - IELTS : 5.0 이상, 5.0 or higher

 ② 영어를 공용어로 하는 국가에서 학위를 취득한 자 

 Graduates with degrees from universities in countries where English is 

 the ‘official’ language

 ③ 대학원에서 개설하는 영어특강을 이수하고 합격한 자 : 면제신청 대상 X (자동 면제)

 Students who have already taken the special classes for English at Yeungnam University and obtained passing marks (automatic exemption without additional application)

 나. 외국인 학생 Non-Korean speaking students

 ① KLAT 4급 이상 또는 TOPIK 4급 이상 성적을 취득한 자

 Official test score holders of KLAT level 4 or higher, or TOPIK level 4 or higher

 ② 한국에서 학위를 취득한 자 Graduates from Universities in Korea

 ③ 한국어 특강을 이수하고 합격한 자 : 면제신청 대상 X (자동 면제)

 (2A 이상 레벨을 1회 수강하고 합격한 자)

 Students who have taken the special classes for Korean and obtained passing marks (2A level or higher once) at Yeungnam University (automatic exemption without additional application)

 6. 합격자 발표 : 2023.3.10.(금), URP종합정보에서 개별 확인

 Notice of test results : You can get your test result on the URP system on Mar. 10(Fri.), 2023

7. 시험 응시자 유의사항

 가. 수험생은 3.4.(토) 09:40까지 입실

 나. 시험장소 : 3.4.(토) 10:00~ 대학원홈페이지 공지 또는 시험당일 상경관 1층 로비 공고 확인

 다. 시험 시작 후 30분 이내 퇴실 금지

 라. 답안지는 작성 유의사항

 - 내국인(영어응시자)는 답안지(OMR카드)에 반드시 검은색 컴퓨터용 싸인펜으로 작성

 - 외국인(한국어응시자)는 검은색 펜으로 작성
